I wish it never ended
Sorry for the lack of writing. I don't know what has gotten into me but, I've been too busy and have not had the heart to write. But I'm here now!
Spring break was great. So great. A break that was well needed. Like... I was just so happy this whole time. I got to see all my friends, except a small few, but that's okay because I know those few were busy doing other things, like Laura in Africa, or Marlise in Tennesse..?
So I got home on Friday day and that night I went to Melanie's house and Med, Amanda, Me, Nate, and Justin went on a walk because the weather was sooo nice! I was really happy because I hadn't seen Justin in a while, and wow was his hair short! haha! But no, we all had a good time and just goofed around. Adam ended up driving and meeting us because he was coming back from somewhere so he drove and we all talked and... we walked 3 miles!! Isn't that crazy?! Good exercise if I do say so myself! After that we went to Adam's house where Jesse, Molly, Jenny, Megan, Alyce, etc. met up with us. It was a ton of people and it was really cool. There were so many different conversations that I couldn't focus, and then we also ordered pizza which was just uber wonderful. There was one point in the night where Justin, Melanie, and Adam were having a religious discussion with Molly and it was really powerful. Like... everyone ended up apologizing to Molly on how we were towards her after her accident. We were all dead inside, and at Village God wasn't really there and that's the time she needed us the most and it was just like... wow. It was really good I think. Unfortunately I couldnt' stay too late because I had royalty business.
I went to the Maple Lake St. Pattie Day parade and it was so bitter cold! Like ick... it shouldn't of been so cold! But it was fun because The Knaptons and Justin showed up! I don't have people ever go to parades that I'm in, so it was cool. After that Melanie and I wanted to go out to eat with Justin and Adam but then they suggested that they make us something. I thought that Justin would just give us reheated dominos from last night, but they went all out! They made fettuccini alfredo from scratch, set the table with all the good dishes, lit candles, and even got us fake wine. I did not expect it and it was just really nice to be cared about like that. The food was amazing!! It was way better than going out somewhere and paying. After are long meal, Nate, Sarah, Anna, John, Jenny, and the rest of us watched Rear Window. I wasn't too thrilled cuz I don't really like watching older movies, but WOW. It was soooo good. Like, it really got everyone on the edge of their seat, and the way it was filmed and told, just yikes! Hitchcock is defintily a genius! I give him props. Haha. I stayed way too late that night. I had to be up at 5:00 for work, but I just like my friends too much to care. So I ended up going home at 2:00.
Work was fine... I ran into a lot of people and it was good to see them. I also got to work with Graham... which was... interesting. Okay, so quick thing about Graham. He is from my work and we've flired a lot since August. Right before school started I blew him off and I felt bad but I freaked. He then got a girlfriend, but everytime I came home we flirted. Well we REALLY flirted this week. There's something about him... he makes me blush ALL the time, and if he touches me in any way, I get all giddy. I know he has a girlfriend but I was being an idiot and just kinda blocked that out. We had a work meeting that night so I saw him there and we just talked a bit but nothing too big. I was supposed to go to Vespers at Bethel, but there was a ton of snow, so instead I rented Elizabethtown and I think Proof. I went to Seward's house and we watched both of them and we liked Elizabethtown wayyy better. I mean proof was okay, but nothing compared to Elizabethtown.
I stayed at Jen's until I had to work again on Monday and I went in and it was really fun! I got to work with Graham and James. James is a guy from Rockford whose 21 and he's just a lot of fun to work with. Those two are my favorite! They make it really fun. Work was really slow because the weather wasn't all that great so like I just slacked off and got to take a really long break with Jenny and Liz Wotrang and I just loved it. Anyway Graham got let off early and I was really sad that he was leaving me, so we just talked and he was like oh I should call you this week.... oh wait, you'll prob. just blow me off. So I told him I wouldn't and he said then we should do something. That made me really happy. After he left we started text messaging eachother and he ended up saying he had a big crush on me before I left for school and I told him I liked him as well. He then said that he has his girlfriend but he really wants to get to know me and he just thingks I'm a lot of fun and I'm really cute. To have him say that about me just really lifted my spirits. I mean it's a boy that is new and exciting and it makes me happy. Anyway I closed and then went to Nate's and we played DDR for an hour in a half! I was soo pooped by the end of it! Insane I tell yah! I slept very well that night.
So Tuesday rolled around and... I didn't work. I don't remember what happened during the day. oh, I went to Target with Jen and we saw Graham while he was working and then went to Wal-mart with Keatyn. It was really nice to see her. I then got into a text messaging zone with Graham and we planned to do something on Thursday. That got me really excited. He's SUCH a flirt and I love it! I think what really made me like it was that it wasn't Justin. Like... I've been fixated on Justin for quite some time, and I mean I'm at a point where we are fine, but I'm also at a point where I have interest in other people. And even though Graham and I won't go any further at this point in time, it's something and that's all that really matters. =) Anyway, Nate, Jenny, and I decided to go bowling at Tuttles and we first met Molly at Caribou Coffee and waited for the lanes to open up and then Adam met us there and we bowled like four games. During this I was text messging Graham and it was fun. I got a high of 113! Woo hay!
Wednesday... I did deposit at work, James was workign which was fun... I went on a walk with Jenny in this dome thing in Plymouth, and during that Zach called me! It was the last time I get to talk to him because he's leaving for Kuwait any day now. I'm worried but I know God has a plan for him and that I just have to have faith in God's plan. It's easier said than done but I'm working on it. After that we went to Big Bowl with Molly and had some good chinese food. It got pretty expensive unfortunately but oh well! We were at Molly's for a while, and we ended up turning on this like square dancing thing, goll it was so funny! We watched it for almost a half hour! Finally Nate had us go to Melanie's to play Settlers and again during this game I was text messaging Graham. I know I shouldn't have because I mean this whole time his girlfriend was at her house while we were having a good time. i felt like such a mistress. It was stupid. But I haven't had that in a while. Anyway, I was not focusing on the game so I lost. We only played one game though cuz it lasted forever and it was snowing hard so we all left.
So Thursday rolled around and night time came and I was really excited to see Graham...and then he blew me off. Like... I totally deserved it. Apparently he didn't realize we had made plans so he made plans with his girlfriend. Talk about Karma. I think that was God's way of saying back off because you aren't even going to get the chance to date him. Meaning I just need to be freinds with him cuz he is fun and I want to be his friend. So I sat at home and watched TV. I hated it but I think it was needed cuz I've been so busy. There's not much to say about Thursday though.
I worked Friday but I ended up at Adam's. It was the regular group only now Kara was home and Justin was now on break so it was fun. We sat around and talked and laughed and then Kara, Nate, and I rented Crash but by the time we got back there was a hug discussion and so Kara and I decided to follow Lee (By follow I mean go after a couple hours of him leaving) to Eric and Adam Neis' house cuz they had people over as well. It was just Lee, Eric N., Eric, Adam, and Kara and I but it was just nice to see them. It has been awhile since I've actually seen em! Well, we left there at three to go back to adam's and we were going to watch the movie but we ended up talking for another hour and THEN popping it in. THat's right... we pulled on ALL NIGHTER!!! The movie was really sad but very true and I do think it's a really good movie. I say, "see it". By the time it was over the sun was coming up. I drove Justin to his house and then we decided to meet at 3 p.m. to play Settlers at his house. So I was in bed by 7:00 AM. HAHA! It was awesome cuz I haven't done that since prom last year! Well I woke up at 1:40 and showered and then to be nice I went to Panera and got Nate, Justin, and myself food! It was really good! Justin then kicked our butt in Settlers and then Kara came but Jenny was having some issues so I went over to her house to calm her down. She then went back to Justin's with me and I played another game of Settlers and of COURSE lost. Molly then met up with us and we went to Jake Barnes house! On the way there, there was this HUGGGEE fire! Some storage buildings had caught on fire and you could see it from Justin's road! The flames were really high and there were soo many fire trucks and such, it was crazy. Jake's was really fun though. I was excited because I haven't seen Jake's mom in a while and I really missed her! She's so much fun!

We played Risk while some people were watching Walk the Line and I actually threatened Justin! Like I was winning and I kept damaging his army but then he wiped me out only because he knew I was the biggest threat. It was cool to make him worry though! After that we played charades in the basement and then Lee and I went on a walk. It was a good walk. I haven't been able to talk him for a long time and I just got a lot of stuff off my chest. We ended up walking for 45 minutes in the cold! IT was well worth it. A little later we all left.
So now here we are at today. Now usually... Sunday's are boring and I do nothing. But today... it was interesting! I went to church and Samantha was there, and Spike was there, and Heidi Fair was there with her BABY!! She has such a cute little girl! Makes me really happy. I took pictures and then went into church. It was really fun because I sat by Joe and Debbie and I just love them to death. Joe has also been telling me that my dad really needs to help out with my college cuz we know he could help and he doesn't cuz he wastes it on other things. And I have decided to confront my father on his alcoholism in hopes that maybe he will listen to me and start going to AA or something. I mean I love him and I hate see him killing himself like this. So I need lots of prayer to be brave because I'll be bringing it up to him within the week. Anyway, I figure I have to help him with that before he can help me with school. Well after church Spike invited me to hang out with him, Justin, and Robbie and so I just couldn't day no to that! We made spaghetti and the Knapp's and ate Strawberry ice cream and then played euchre! I actually won!!! I mean I suck at the game but Justin was my partner so he helped me figure out the game better and we won! I was really excited. After that I went home, packed, and now here I am! I also found out that I don't get to surprise Laura in Nebraska cuz her coming home is now on Wednesday instead of Sunday. I think it's a blessing in disguise though because I'm low on $funds$ and now I don't have to miss school. So yah!! Anyway... I'm sorry it was so long. It's just my life and I lay it out for people who want to know! I would be a lot more detailed but then this would be a novel! haha! I just wanted to say thanks to all my friends for an awesome week. I really loved every minute of it!

Since when does March= snowstorm?
I'm sorry... I'm terribly sorry for not writing much lately. I guess one reason was that nothing that exciting was happening, and two, I just had too much going on for school and such, and it left me with not a whole lot of time to write. I apologize and hope you all can forgive me.
Let's see... well my heart doesn't hurt anymore. Mainly because time makes things better, the conflict is still there but, well, it'll be dealt with soon enough! No worries though! =) What else is new....
I was reading this book called Spilling Clarence for my Reality Fiction class... and wow, I REALLY liked it. Like... she writes soo ... uniquely...The thing that really drew me to it more so than most books is that she writes like I do! It's insane! Like wow, it really matches up. Not that I need to have someone write like me who is published to make me feel better, but it's just nice to know that if she can get published, well so can I! YAY!
So... this weekend I had my friend Josh come and stay with Ali and I. I was nervous really. Like... I wanted him to come to stay with us, but the second he said yes, I FREAKED. Like... he was staying in my dorm for TWO NIGHTS! And like... we always flirt and I was scared that he'd wanna act upon that. But... I mean it's Josh! I've been friends with him for quite some time and from the beginning we said we'd never date, plus he's not my type anyway. But there's always that wonder... will he think differently? I think I also wanted him to come down because... I'm sick of being single and I wanted to act out, and who knows... but like... God really convicted me. As much as I would want to... I dunno... kiss him or something... I KNOW that's something I would regret later. I'm just sick of waiting for something that's not there, or never being satisfied... and heck, I miss it! But again, God is awesome and basically was like as much as you want to rebel, it's nothing something I want and it's not something you want. Gotta love God right? Anyway, he came down and we all had so much fun! Like Ali got along with him REAL well (I think they'd be a cute couple! tee hee) and like all my other friends, ah it was awesome. The first night he got here and like 11:00 and we went to Perkins for a while, and then we talked and went to bed. The next day we watched a movie while Ali went to dance and then we went to the Winona State basketball game because it's like the NSIC semi-finals and I was writing an article on it. After that we were starving so we decided to drive to LaCrosse and eat at Olive Garden. The wait was incredibly long but it was sooooooo worth it. The salad, the breadsticks, the fettucini alfredo, and of course... my mortal sin! Okay, so I've given up chocolate, among other things for the next 40 days because I want to, and Olive Garden has really good desserts. Well... I wasn't going to get anything, and I was arguing with Ali back and forth and then I was like, "NO!" only to discover... yep... I was eating the Ande's mint the waitress gave us! DANGIT!! So... I failed, caved in, and got the chocolate mousse. So wonderfully delicious. Now that I've failed, I feel bad, but I will continue on and maybe just go an extra day without chocolate. Who knows.... Anyway... When we got back we decided to rent a movie. We ended up renting Wedding Crashers. Rachel and her roommate decided to join us so we had a little movie party. Okay, so the movie is perverted, but I like a lot of it. I LOVE weddings, I think Owen Wilson is really smooth and witty in that movie, and in the end it's all about love anyway right? So I wouldn't say it's at the top of my list, but I enjoyed it. After that I wrote my article (8:00 AM deadline) while Ali and Josh played frisbee outside at like midnight. Haha. Then we went down to Elizabeth and Ashley's room and sat around and talked. It was a lot of fun. We got back and we were soo tired, but Josh popped in Mr. and Mrs. Smith so for the longest time, Ali and I were hooked. I was tired though and took out my contacts and fell asleep. So now today, Josh left at like a quarter to eight (YIKES) and I wished him a safe journey. It was a really good weekend. Like... nobody was drinking (I never do) and Josh was saying that if he was in Milwaukee right now, he would be getting drunk. He said he had a lot of fun not drinking, and I just felt good that I could entertain him without the use of alcohol. And... I was even able to have a God discussion with them. It was cool. I mean Josh is not a strong, well, anything, and Ali is searching. But like I told them, I'm not going to press my views on them, I want them to want to come to know God through my actions and such. Like... they will see how I live and know that somethings up and then question me. That's how it should be. With not fighting, no arguing, just curiousity. That's me! The passive evangelist. Haha.
Wow, that was a long paragraph. Ah well. Now I sit here watching a TON of snow come down. WHERE DID IT COME FROM?! Yesterday we had such nice weather! Like I mean it wasn't warm by any means, but it was decent. Now we wake up to a world of white. It was crazy. It's still coming down too. March should NOT equal snowstorm.... it should equal nice weather and the beginnings of spring. Oh well... as long as it doesn't stick around too long I'll deal with it.
I've decided that I really like Ali. Like... I mean we all know we had our difficulties first semester, but wow. Second semester just has really broughten us together. I like her a lot! Like hanging out with her this weekend was really nice. It's hard too though cuz we only have oh so many weeks and such together. Next year I'll be at Bethel and she will be attending Milwaukee and... yah. So she'l be coming up with me sometime soon, and I will get to see her house and how she lives and such. It'll be fun. It's funny, and I never agreed with the saying, but you do really become great friends with your room mate. It'll be really sad when we part....

Let's see... well my heart doesn't hurt anymore. Mainly because time makes things better, the conflict is still there but, well, it'll be dealt with soon enough! No worries though! =) What else is new....
I was reading this book called Spilling Clarence for my Reality Fiction class... and wow, I REALLY liked it. Like... she writes soo ... uniquely...The thing that really drew me to it more so than most books is that she writes like I do! It's insane! Like wow, it really matches up. Not that I need to have someone write like me who is published to make me feel better, but it's just nice to know that if she can get published, well so can I! YAY!
So... this weekend I had my friend Josh come and stay with Ali and I. I was nervous really. Like... I wanted him to come to stay with us, but the second he said yes, I FREAKED. Like... he was staying in my dorm for TWO NIGHTS! And like... we always flirt and I was scared that he'd wanna act upon that. But... I mean it's Josh! I've been friends with him for quite some time and from the beginning we said we'd never date, plus he's not my type anyway. But there's always that wonder... will he think differently? I think I also wanted him to come down because... I'm sick of being single and I wanted to act out, and who knows... but like... God really convicted me. As much as I would want to... I dunno... kiss him or something... I KNOW that's something I would regret later. I'm just sick of waiting for something that's not there, or never being satisfied... and heck, I miss it! But again, God is awesome and basically was like as much as you want to rebel, it's nothing something I want and it's not something you want. Gotta love God right? Anyway, he came down and we all had so much fun! Like Ali got along with him REAL well (I think they'd be a cute couple! tee hee) and like all my other friends, ah it was awesome. The first night he got here and like 11:00 and we went to Perkins for a while, and then we talked and went to bed. The next day we watched a movie while Ali went to dance and then we went to the Winona State basketball game because it's like the NSIC semi-finals and I was writing an article on it. After that we were starving so we decided to drive to LaCrosse and eat at Olive Garden. The wait was incredibly long but it was sooooooo worth it. The salad, the breadsticks, the fettucini alfredo, and of course... my mortal sin! Okay, so I've given up chocolate, among other things for the next 40 days because I want to, and Olive Garden has really good desserts. Well... I wasn't going to get anything, and I was arguing with Ali back and forth and then I was like, "NO!" only to discover... yep... I was eating the Ande's mint the waitress gave us! DANGIT!! So... I failed, caved in, and got the chocolate mousse. So wonderfully delicious. Now that I've failed, I feel bad, but I will continue on and maybe just go an extra day without chocolate. Who knows.... Anyway... When we got back we decided to rent a movie. We ended up renting Wedding Crashers. Rachel and her roommate decided to join us so we had a little movie party. Okay, so the movie is perverted, but I like a lot of it. I LOVE weddings, I think Owen Wilson is really smooth and witty in that movie, and in the end it's all about love anyway right? So I wouldn't say it's at the top of my list, but I enjoyed it. After that I wrote my article (8:00 AM deadline) while Ali and Josh played frisbee outside at like midnight. Haha. Then we went down to Elizabeth and Ashley's room and sat around and talked. It was a lot of fun. We got back and we were soo tired, but Josh popped in Mr. and Mrs. Smith so for the longest time, Ali and I were hooked. I was tired though and took out my contacts and fell asleep. So now today, Josh left at like a quarter to eight (YIKES) and I wished him a safe journey. It was a really good weekend. Like... nobody was drinking (I never do) and Josh was saying that if he was in Milwaukee right now, he would be getting drunk. He said he had a lot of fun not drinking, and I just felt good that I could entertain him without the use of alcohol. And... I was even able to have a God discussion with them. It was cool. I mean Josh is not a strong, well, anything, and Ali is searching. But like I told them, I'm not going to press my views on them, I want them to want to come to know God through my actions and such. Like... they will see how I live and know that somethings up and then question me. That's how it should be. With not fighting, no arguing, just curiousity. That's me! The passive evangelist. Haha.
Wow, that was a long paragraph. Ah well. Now I sit here watching a TON of snow come down. WHERE DID IT COME FROM?! Yesterday we had such nice weather! Like I mean it wasn't warm by any means, but it was decent. Now we wake up to a world of white. It was crazy. It's still coming down too. March should NOT equal snowstorm.... it should equal nice weather and the beginnings of spring. Oh well... as long as it doesn't stick around too long I'll deal with it.
I've decided that I really like Ali. Like... I mean we all know we had our difficulties first semester, but wow. Second semester just has really broughten us together. I like her a lot! Like hanging out with her this weekend was really nice. It's hard too though cuz we only have oh so many weeks and such together.
