If this is a year of new beginnings, why do I feel so used?

Hello one and all. It's been a while since I've written, and I apologize. Life has been crazy. I was house sitting for Jame's family from the 23rd to the 30th, and then of course there was Christmas, and New Years and my Christmas party and working in Plymouth and Shakopee and getting ready for school and of course house sitting for my brother, which I am currently doing. So I think it's been okay that it's been a while. But I'll go through this all cuz It's been an interesting couple of weeks.

Christmas was amazing. I got a lot of things that I didnt' expect. I got a car (Kinda my present to myself but I got someone to co-sign the loan so it all worked out) and gift cards and stuff from Clinique and Gilmore Girl season 2 and some other stuff. It was a nice Christmas cuz everyone was friendly and Andrew was there and I felt like we actually have a real family.

House sitting was really interesting. I've never watched house before, so I really didn't know what was to happen. Am I supposed to LIVE THERE? Day and night, be there in case something happened? I figured out that that is not possible. Maybe for some people, but not me. I can't even stay at my own house for more than a couple hours at a time. Ha. But the Dog (Tobie) was pretty good (besides the fact he pooped once cuz I was at work for 10hrs and he threw up the first night I was there) He really liked the company though. It was hard because they had two dogs a week before they left, but then he died cuz he had cancer. So the other dog was just lethargic and so that was the main reason I was there. But I got paid rather well. I really enjoyed doing it.

My Christmas party was stressful as Hell. Planning a thing that big is horrible. I vow never to do it again (but we'll see if that actually happens) It's like, is the payoff worth the stress? Who knows. But everyone seemed like they had a good time. Secret Santa thing was really fun and everyone just had a good time hanging out together and the food was excellent. Everyone did a really good job. Sadly I got a migraine so Ali and my night was cut short.

speaking of Ali, she was down for the week and it was fun. She came specifically for the Christmas party and New Years. And New years... oh my it was great. Like we played broomball for hours. I think from 8 to 11 or something. I've never done so much running before. It was crazy. But the best part is, I didn't get hurt!! Woo hay!! I am wound-free! and I had a lot of fun cuz I flirted with Dusty a lot and there was just soo many people there that I got to catch up with. The night was also a little frustrating cuz some people were just ignoring me and I fetl sad. But I've talked to that person so all things are well now.

NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS
1.) Read a book a month
2.) Finish my book
3.) Continue running

I think those are a doable goals. Don't you? I'm feeling it. haha.

So my title to my blog has some meaning. I was basically taken advantage of the other day and let me just say it's a horrible feeling. I tried to shower off the feeling but believe me, it sticks there. No nothing REALLY bad happened, but it's the concept. It's that concept that I was the deer standing in headlights and did NOTHING to save myself. A push of the arm does not say HEY please don't touch me. Nope.... But this isn't the place or the time to get into this. Just realize that I wasn't stupid, I was just frozen.

I hope you all had a great new years and I will write again soon!!

  4. Do you know what's really interesting? I was going to use that title for my next blog... weird huh?

2007 is going to be a great year, even if it didn't start off too hot. I figure, if it starts off bad, it can only get better by the end right? Right. It'll be amazing, don't even worry about it ;) Cheers!
